I am a Beauty Therapist, Nutritionist, Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapist and CPS (college of psychic studies) accredited healer. I offer nutritional consultations, counselling/psychotherapy and beauty and massage treatments that are holistic and designed to care for and support your unique physiology and emotional needs. I am passionate about all aspects of health and believe that we can become unwell or low in spirits when we give out more than we get back, have lost touch with our true nature or travelled too far from our life's purpose. Counselling and Psychotherapy can help us to re-discover who we are and what we want from our lives. We can begin to connect with what our soul longs for and experience greater peace and joy in our lives.
I have over 20 years experience in the beauty business including 11 years running my own health and beauty centre. My knowledge of nutrition and self-care helps me work intuitively, effectively and compassionately with individuals suffering from a wide range of issues such as low energy, work related stress, depression, anxiety and addictions particularly those related to food such as Anorexia and Bulimia.
I have completed a couples' counselling training which allows me to work confidently with both couples and individuals who may be experiencing difficulties in relationship and who want to better understand themselves and their patterns of attachment.
I am a registered member of BACP awaiting UKCP accreditation in 2016.
What you eat ultimately reflects how you feel about yourself and your level of self-care. We can choose to be well by eating well.
The focus is on improving diet and lifestyle and building resilience to the stresses of day to day living. Our mood and energy levels are affected by what we eat and drink as well as our thoughts and emotions. Good quality sleep and exercise are also vital and these needs will be addressed during your consultation. I aim to work with your preferences and current lifestyle recognising that we are all unique and that there is no one 'perfect diet' that fits all. Before we meet I ask you to fill in a Nutritional Profile Questionnaire and 5 day food diary. I then review this with you and together we work out a plan of action involving lifestyle changes where necessary and new and inspiring ways of preparing and enjoying your food. Nutritional supplements may also be recommended. Normally I suggest a follow-up consultation 4-6 weeks later to check your progress and review your programme.
Initial consultation (1 hr 30 mins) £60
£35 thereafter (40 mins)
This involves one to one counselling and nutritional advice aimed at helping anyone, young or old who may be struggling with issues around food/weight/body image and low self-esteem. Many of us hold confused and conflicting views on dieting and optimum nutrition and don't know how to prepare quick and healthy meals. We may never have learnt to 'fully feel' our feelings and are poor at self-soothing using food or alcohol to self-medicate. Some of our difficulties may have their roots in childhood neglect such as emotional, physical or sexual abuse. For others there may have been loss of a parent at a young age or the trauma of a family break up. Sibling rivalry and dysfunctional parenting, possibly sometimes a lack of 'mothering' or good mirroring may also be a factor. Everyone's story is unique. By listening to your story and exploring your relationship to food, my aim is to help you to learn to enjoy a wide variety of foods and be able to tune into and recognise your emotional needs so they can be satisfied in ways that bring you peace rather than pain.

I could not recommend Sally's facials enough. Your skin feels rejuvenated and after each treatment one is left feeling grounded and very relaxed. My eighteen year old Daughter thinks they are heavenly!
I have been visiting Sally for full body massages for many years now. I find the massage sensuous and a most enjoyable way to de-stress and unwind, due to her sensitive touch and use of aromatic essential oils. As someone who suffers from aching joints and muscles, a regular full body massage certainly helps with my mobility. When the hour is over and I leave, I always start looking forward to the next one.
Sally Turberville Smith's divine facial (which she combines with massage and healing) is quite simply the best facial I have ever had. She has saved my skin (and sanity) on more than one occasion. Blissful, pampering and fabulous for your face. Ingrid Stone - Writer, Broadcaster and "The Queen Of Complaints"
Our inner beauty is revealed in the grace and dignity with which we face ourselves, our relationships and the world. When we are sensitive to and appreciate beauty our soul sings.

When we have the courage to be true to ourselves and follow our bliss amazing things unfold.
I am a fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist awaiting UKCP accreditation in 2016. I am a member of BACP and abide by their ethical guidelines. My fee is £50 for a 50 minute session. My approach is integrative and transpersonal and I am interested in working with the creative imagination as well as 'talking therapy'. Counselling offers you a safe, non judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings around a particular issue such as a recent loss, illness or relationship difficulty. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression or low self esteem and talking to someone about how this affects you and having someone compassionately witness your story can be extremely healing. As a transpersonal integrative therapist I am interested in how your past may be influencing the present as well as your thoughts about the future. In working with the creative imagination, for example working with dreams, drawing, play and the physical body we gain access to the right part of the brain that contains our emotional intelligence and is a source of insight to our soul or spiritual nature. Ultimately we work together to provide meaningful solutions to what you are struggling with in life, recognising the 'gifts' that may be hidden beneath our day to day challenges and personal relationships.
I run on-going groups for people interested in exploring themselves and their relationships and also for those who may have an eating disorder or a disordered pattern of eating that is interfering with their life and causing them unhappiness. Groups comprise 4-8 people and meet weekly for 90 minutes at the same time and place. Commitment to regular attendance is important.
Relationships provide us with some of our greatest challenges, yet they can open us up to an expanded sense of who we are and deepen our capacity to connect with others. How we function in a couple reflects the attachment style of our family of origin and the relationships we had or continue to have with our major caregivers. They are also affected by our adult relationship history and our capacity to enjoy a healthy relationship with ourselves. If you are having difficulties in relationship and need a non-judgmental space to explore the dynamics and find some clarity couple counselling may provide the answers.
Sessions are 70 minutes £65 per session
Our skin is the boundary between who we are on the inside and what we show to the world. It deserves to be treated gently with products harvested from nature's bounty.
I use Nicola Kidd's product range NK Naturals which she makes from her home by the sea in Lanzarote. Nicola uses only the finest essential oils, coconut oil and beeswax for her cleansing balms and sources marine botanicals for her marine mud which is a gentle exfoliator.
It's Beautiful (50ml) £30
Sea Buckthorn, rosehip oil, benzoin and amber resin combine with beeswax to create a nurturing soothing and regenerative balm that can be used for cleansing the face and delicate eye area. The balm also makes a wonderful intensive treatment for lips, cuticles, eyelashes and eyebrows. Suitable for all skin types but especially beneficial for more mature or drier skins needing extra care.
It's Delicate (50ml) £30
My personal favourite with blue camomile, palmerosa and lavender. This cleansing balm is perfect for sensitive skins due to its calming properties. It is recommended for the treatment and relief of eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. It is also ideal for young problem skins.
It's Gorgeous (50ml) £30
An everyday protection balm with SPF 30 provided by Titanium Dioxide which provides a physical barrier between your skin and the sun protecting from both UVA and UVB rays. Additional anti-oxidant protection is also provided by red raspberry seed oil and other botanicals. Benzoin provides anti-inflammatory properties and Jasmine a sensual perfume and natural healing benefits to skin that is dry and sensitive.
Marine Mud (50 ml) £25
A unique exfoliator made from volcanic ash, seaweed and fish oil. A wonderful skin brightening and skin softening treatment for dull lifeless skin and to be used by all skin types once a month to rejuvenate the complexion by stimulating new skin cell regeneration. A very economical product as only 1 tsp of mud is needed mixed with a little distilled water for each application. Apply to a clean dry face. Wait 10 minutes for the product to dry and then gently rub away in small circular movements always remembering to support the skin with the other hand.
Lip Balm (15ml) £12
A nourishing treatment for the lips containing shea butter oil, vitamin E and vanilla pod extract. Packaged in a handy little tin for carrying everywhere and perfect for protecting the nose from dryness when you have a cold.
All sessions are carried out at 271a Willesden Lane, NW2 5JG. Parking can be arranged at cost of £1.50. Willesden Green tube station (Jubilee line) is less than 5 minutes walk and the 98 bus stops right outside.
